You can connect repositories to Code Maestro through our supported plugins (JetBrains Rider or MS Visual Studio). If you don't use these IDE’s, our team can help you set up the connection.
Connecting with Code Maestro IDE Plugin
1. Ensure access to your repository
Verify that your repository's API is accessible to Code Maestro. You may need to whitelist Code Maestro's server IP address 176.9.62.184
for API integration (please contact our team for details).

2. Install plugin
Download plugin. Download the latest version of our plugin here.

Install plugin. Install the plugin in your IDE.
3. Connect your repository
- Open your repository and branch. Open the cloud repository and its branch that you want to connect to Code Maestro in your IDE.
- Sign in to Code Maestro. Open the Code Maestro plugin and log in with your credentials (or sign up if needed).
- Start setup. If you have a supported cloud-based Git or Mercurial repository open, you'll see the "Setup now" button. Click it to begin.
- Set up repository connection. Follow the instructions to connect your repository.
- Set up webhooks. Configure webhooks so Code Maestro can receive repository change notifications (this step can be completed later).
- Answer questions. Provide brief, accurate answers to Code Maestro's questions about your project—these help the model better understand your codebase.
- Start indexing. Confirm the indexing process. You'll see progress and estimated completion time (typically 30 minutes to 6 hours, depending on repository size). Once indexing completes, you'll have access to the chat interface where you can ask questions about your project.
